I have enjoyed being Queen of Teen. I have had to learn new skills, like typing in a tiara and training my unruly dog Kelpie to behave like a royal corgi. (That last bit is not really working, alas...)

I have tried to use my new powers well. I have suggested that daydreaming is put onto the national curriculum for every school and that chocolate should be given out free on the NHS, but this pesky government don't seem to take my ideas seriously. They say they have more important matters to attend to... I mean, really?

I've had lots of fun since being voted Queen of Teen... it's an amazing award because it's all about YOU, the super-cool reader gals out there. Your votes and views really DO count! My reign may be coming to an end but there is so much talent out there in the world of teen-lit that it won't be hard at all to find a worthy successor. And then I can go back to daydreaming and eating chocolate. Um... any chance I can keep the tiara?
