Because her Diary of a Chav books are hilarious and so true to life (for me anyway) and she captures the essence of 'chav Britain' perfectly. A lot of my mates read the books, and love them just as much as I do. I squealed like a little girl when I found out that the new book (The Ibiza Diaries) had come out and my mum had bought it for me (I'm reading it now!).

Her books are brilliant reads, they keep me laughing and entertained for hours. She is very creative and funny. She makes the characters come alive and out of the page almost. She has given me inspiration to start my own book with my best friend. She uses detail in a funny way to draw you into the story. The storylines are easy to understand but interesting. She bring quite a lot of teenage life into her book so it makes girls more likely to read it. I have a collection of her books and they are interesting to keep and collect. I think Grace is the best teen author because she brings great fun into her books and she makes buy the next one in the series to find out what happens.

Oh My Gosh. Her books are just so AMAZING! I laughed so much at all of the 'Diary of a Chav' books! She is a real inspiration to all budding writers out there and I would love to be able to write like her. Comedy & Drama all in one. I really can't wait for the next book to come out! She has a page on bebo which I am viewing all the time, asking her for advice on my writing and waiting for new Shiraz gossip. I think she should win Queen Of Teen because she has reached out to millions of people and I really think she deserves it! GRACE DENT TO WIN!!

I think that Grace Dent deserves to win this award because her books are fantastic! The way she writes the Diary of a Chav is brilliant, she uses the way teenagers act and speak to write her book and therefore you can really relate to the characters in some ways. If I can relate to a character in a book I am reading I find it nicer and easier to get into and enjoy, and with Grace Dent's diaries I find it really easy to do this. The Diary of a Chav book sequel she wrote is really very funny and can be related to in real life by teenagers. Also her books are written in a very modern style and she even has a networking website for her characters which is really popular and lets even more people give their say and give opinions on the books and find out more information about them. I think she is a fantastic author and deserves very much to win this award!

I have chosen this author because of her book Diary Of a Chav. It is an amazing book about basic common teens and how they feel about their parents. And it honestly tells the truth about our feelings. Grace has done a wonderful job on her books and that is why I nominate her. She is an inspiration for Teens. Xxx
