Cathy Hopkins

Biography

Cathy Hopkins lives on the top of a hill in Bath with her husband and three cats.

She had a varied career before she settled down and became a writer.

She trained to teach art, sang with a rock and roll band, worked as an occupational therapist, script writer and reader, newspaper reviewer on Sky News, and an aromatherapist.

Most of the jobs were to support her writing and in 2000 she was finally able to work full-time at the job she really loves.

So far she has had more than fifty books published (so must be doing some work in between emails and surfing the net) and has sold over four million books since she started writing for teenagers.
