The nominations you sent in were so heartfelt and brilliant to read that we decided to publish a selection of our favourites here. Read on to see if your nomination has been featured!
I know she is a popular author and my favourite, but there is a reason for that. I like her because she understands the way children, especially girls of modern days, think, as if she can read their minds! She writes in a brilliant way that is not too complicated or too simple for a teen or pre-teen to understand and enjoy. Her books are also varied i.e. comedy, romance, drama etc so everyone can find a book they enjoy. That is why I have voted for Jacqueline Wilson.
- Matya, aged 11

I have nominated Jacqueline Wilson as Queen of Teen because all her books for older readers really make you think about characters, yourself and other people. She uses her stories in such great ways that other people can relate to and understand what the author is on about. Her characters are always different and are entwined in lip biting or difficult situations. Her books make you laugh, they make you cry but they are all definitely gripping and you can't put the book down. I am always disappointed when the book ends because I want to read more and more or even just read the book again. Jacqueline Wilson realises things that happen around and then turns something into this amazing book that glues you to the page. She knows what differences people can have and shows we are all different but that is not a bad thing. I love her books and have read every one of them and am never disappointed with the outcome. I have not only read her books but also have learned through them as well, it has opened my mind and imagination to different things. So thank you Jacqueline Wilson, your books are great and I will keep on reading them...!

I have chosen Jacqueline Wilson to be crowned Queen of Teen because she writes with passion. Also I have chosen her because she describes what she is talking about and each book is worth reading. This is because every book Jacqueline writes is different and has a different story line to it. Jacqueline deserves to win the Queen of Teen award because she doesn't write anything from the top of her head she writes from her heart. She is a great author and I love reading her books. This is why I think Jacqueline Wilson should be crowned Queen of Teen.

I chose Jacqueline Wilson because I have liked pretty much all of her books. A lot of them relate to stories in my life or problems that I have or had. They gave me advice on what to do about my problems and how to avoid getting into them. I especially liked Kiss that came out last year in October. It explained what to do in an awkward situation and was really well written so you felt like you were there. Also, a lot of her books explain about what to do with your parents if they are divorced like mine are. They really helped me see that it's not all bad and that you can't go back in time and make things different. So my nomination goes to Jacqueline for writing such brilliant books for teen girls.

I enjoy her books because they make me enjoy reading and are full of fun adventures. The ones I have read so far from Jacqueline Wilson are girly, just like me, so they make me involved in the story. I like it because at the beginning of each chapter there is a cool illustration. My friends and me enjoy talking about which Jacqueline Wilson book is our favourite. They’re fab. My favourite book is Candy Floss, because Floss sticks up for herself like me. I have started reading a new book called My Sister Jodie and it is sounds interesting. I do not have a sister but I want to find out what it is like, and I think if I read the book I can find out.
