Sarah Webb

Biography

Sarah was born in Dublin, Ireland, where she grew up with her family including two sisters and a younger brother.

She studied English and History of Art at Trinity College, Dublin after which she worked in a range of bookshops mainly as a children's bookseller.

Sarah then began to write for local newspapers and magazines after which she came up with an idea for a children's cookery book, Kid's Can Cook.

Since then she has written eight novels for adults and published the first books in her Amy Green series for young teens.

  • Sarah can touch the end of her nose with her tongue!
  • She loves karaoke even though she can't sing
  • Sarah is addicted to notebooks, and always carries one in her bag
  • She's obsessed with husky dogs
  • The curtains in Sarah's study are pink, probably because her favourite colour is raspberry pink!
